Sarah Thomas, Women’s Institutes Wales,
Get your voice heard in the National Conversation at Tapestri, Swansea on 30 September and Venue Cymru, Llandudno on 1 October
Women are powerful agents of change and have a unique role in leading the way to achieving sustainable development as guardians of natural resources, primary decision-makers in household consumption, educators of the next generation and key voices within communities
What are the most important issues for women in improving their lives and those of their families and communities?
What are the key challenges that need to be addressed to ensure the well-being of future generations and what can be done to address these challenges?
Have your say on the Wales you want to see for our future generations (2050 and beyond) by attending one of the interactive events below:-
30 September – Tapestri, Swansea from 10am – 1pm followed by lunch
1 October – Venue Cymru, Llandudno from 10am – 1pm followed by lunch
These events are an opportunity to ensure that the views of women are reflected strongly in the Welsh Government’s national conversation on ‘The Wales We Want’. The findings will help shape the development of the Well-being of Future Generations Bill which was launched on 7 July.
Light refreshments will be provided.
